HAND BUILDING, CASTING & DECORATION

During our classes these sessions participants will complete a set project under the direction of a tutor, the projects are suitable for anyone new to working with clay and for existing members who would like to dedicate time to completing a piece of work with a tutor. Participants will make an item, or small range of items, which will then be fired and glazed. After this class participants can join Make North and attend our weekly workshops to learn further techniques and book a bench at an access session to develop projects on their own.

Young people aged 9- 16 can attend with a paying adult from the same household for a small extra charge of £20 for materials & firing, payable in cash on the day. The adult and child share a bench, so there is a maximum of one child per adult and this doesn't apply to wheel bookings.
